Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop (DWR Coating) is a smooth textured, lightweight, and flexible fabric. Sourced from 70 denier thick, 100% nylon fibers, this material is further reinforced with stitching to prevent rips and tears. The stitching on Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop (DWR Coating) forms a square-like pattern that repeats every 1/8 inches vertically and horizontally. This hydrophobic fabric is further treated with a DWR, or durable water-repellent coating, which repels liquids from the surface. Measuring 58/60 inches wide, Ottertex® Nylon Ripstop (DWR Coating) is 0.12 millimeters thick, has a 70 GSM, and is sold in 100-yard roll increments.

POLYESTER RIPSTOP (DWR COATING)

Ottertex® Polyester Ripstop (DWR Coating) is a pliable, softly textured, and lightweight fabric. Sourced from 200 denier thick, 100% polyester fibers, this fabric is treated with a DWR, or durable water repellent coating, meaning it is hydrophobic and repels liquids. Furthermore, this fabric resists rips and tears because it is reinforced with additional stitching which forms a grid-like pattern that repeats every 1/8 of an inch, both vertically and horizontally. Measuring 58/60 inches wide, Ottertex® Polyester Ripstop (DWR Coating) is 0.35 millimeters thick, has a 120 GSM, and is sold in 100-yard rolls.

WATER-RESISTANT

The fabrics are designed to ensure 100% water resistant capabilities. Most liquids will be rejected by the fabric of up to a certain amount of pressure. After that, some water may penetrate. This means less time on cleaning and more time on things that actually matter for you.

Ottertex® fabrics are manufactured in such a way that it can resist both mold and mildew. Exposure to materials that already contain mold and mildew can still spread on to the fabric. However, this can be easily washed off and treated. See cleaning instructions for more info.

Fabric can often get dirty, whether it’s at home our outdoors. Fortunately, the Ottertex fabric is an easy clean. For most dirt and stains, it can be easily removed with a damp cloth and cleaning solution.

Measuring 62/63 inches wide, this material is 0.13 millimeters thick, has a 70 GSM, resists abrasions, and is sold in 100-yard roll increments.

Ottertex® 300D Solution Dyed PU Waterproof Hexagon Grid Ripstop is a durable, softly textured, waterproof fabric that is available in a variety of bright colors and can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. Unlike other ripstops, this one is sourced from 300 denier thick, 100% polyester fibers which are dyed prior to the weaving process. This means that 300D Solution Dyed PU Waterproof Hexagon Grid Ripstop displays colors more vividly, and has a strong UV resistance. Furthermore, this material features a stitched hexagon grid pattern which prevents rips and tears, in addition to being treated with a waterproof, PU, or polyurethane coating. Measuring 60/61 inches wide, 300D Solution Dyed PU Waterproof Hexagon Grid Ripstop is 0.35 millimeters thick, has a 190 GSM, is easy to clean, and is sold in 50-yard roll increments.
